Our history

Foundation & Recognition (2016–2021)

QIVA was founded in 2016 by Ellie Adams, a former management consultant and fluent Mandarin speaker, with a vision to professionalise China market strategy and execution for healthcare brands. This focus on specialist excellence was validated in 2021, when QIVA won its first international award for the strategic growth delivered for Floradix.

Expansion & Alliances (2022–2024)

In 2022, we established our first wholly-owned Chinese subsidiary to support a rapidly growing on-the-ground team. Momentum accelerated in 2024 as QIVA became an IQVIA Consumer Health Alliance Partner and secured the prestigious Alibaba ‘Best New Entrant’ award for our client, Navage—proving our ability to launch and scale effectively.

Leadership & Future Growth (2025)

In 2025, we expanded our mandate to take on our first domestic Chinese healthcare clients and cemented our industry authority as guest speakers at Nicholas Hall and PharmaSynergy. We are moving fast; follow our blog to keep tuned on what comes next.
